How to Use Iridium Works EXIF Cleaner on Windows

  1. Download the App
    • Go to the Iridium Works EXIF Cleaner page and click the Download for Windows button.
    • Save the ZIP file to your Downloads folder.
    • Unzip the file and start the Application.
  2. Open the Application
    • Navigate to your Downloads folder and double-click ExifCleaner.exe.
    • The first time you open it, Windows may show a security warning (Windows Defender / SmartScreen).
    • Click More Info and then Run Anyway to continue.
  3. Start Cleaning EXIF Data
    • The program opens immediately — no installation needed.
    • You can now drag & drop files into the app to remove EXIF metadata.
    • The file will be cleaned and replaces the file directly where it came from.
  4. Pin to Taskbar for Easy Access
    • Right-click the ExifCleaner.exe icon while it’s running in your taskbar.
    • Select Pin to taskbar so you can launch it quickly anytime.

How to Use Iridium Works EXIF Cleaner on MacOS

  1. Download the App
    • Go to the Iridium Works EXIF Cleaner page and click the Download for MacOS button.

  2. Open the Application
    • In Finder, go to your Downloads folder.
    • Double-click the file to open it.
  3. Start Cleaning EXIF Data
    • The app opens immediately — no installation or setup required.
    • Simply drag & drop your photos/files into the window to strip EXIF metadata.
    • The file will be cleaned and replaces the file directly where it came from.
  4. Keep It Handy in the Dock
    • While the app is running, right-click (or Ctrl + click) the EXIF Cleaner icon in your Dock.
    • Select Options → Keep in Dock so you can launch it quickly whenever you need it.
