As a Freelance Senior Webflow Developer, you take full ownership of web projects from early concept through to production-ready delivery. You work on clearly defined project mandates, bring your own expertise and methodology, and deliver finished results.
This position is for someone who considers themselves a web experience designer as much as a developer - someone who gets excited about motion, detail, and that final 10% that makes a site truly exceptional.
Note: This is a freelance, project-based collaboration. The contractor is not integrated into the internal operations of Iridium Works, bears their own entrepreneurial risk, and is free to determine their own working hours. This arrangement does not constitute bogus self-employment (Scheinselbstständigkeit).
Responsibilities:
- Conceiving and building new client websites in Webflow from the ground up
- Crafting sophisticated animations to elevate the user experience
- Overhauling existing projects and raising them to a new standard
- Direct client communication within the project scope to understand goals and requirements
- Collaborating with brand designers to bring visual identities to life with fidelity
- Independent coordination of sub-deliverables on larger projects
Requirements:
- A portfolio of industry-leading Webflow websites that speaks for itself
- Deep expertise in web animation — GSAP, Barba.js, Lenis, and other modern libraries
- The ability to take a brief or brand guidelines and turn them into a fully realised site
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
- An obsessive eye for detail and a relentless drive for quality
- Business fluent English and German, both written and spoken
